Of course not all can be blacks and browns and ochre, and getting unnaturally vibrant paints is just part of my curiosity: i spend my night mixing this and that, trying new combinations, experimenting and trying to tame various new pigments. My paints are 85%+ pure pigment, which makes their lightfastness absolute, the rest means they are held together by an organic binder, my own homemade honey and myrtus glycerin. Their naturality makes them unpredictable some dry like pepper, some never dry but i like that about them.
They are unique and individual. With each new batch, i try to invoke a theme and invent as many new paints as possible, to keep my regular customers thrilled : i repeat some of the older recipes, because they never fall out of demand, but mostly, with each new batch, i invent. There is something wonderful, knowing that these combinations and pigments have been around since the dawn of time and somewhere, long ago, someone just as adventurous wandered around and explored with a very similar palette in their thick wooly pocket :d. This item is made of paint and pigment, honey, glycerine, gum arabic, clove oil, mica, silver.
