Special deals - two palettes of my most calm and my most temperamental paints. The gray includes eleven various hues of neutral tones. Princess (all right, yes, this one is very pink, very bright and excited to be on a page).Beige pink (is her more modest, calm sister). Apricot (is as pink as orange gets or as orange as pink gets). Icecream pink (princess' darker sister, also an excited bubbly pink). Rum punch (takes itself very seriously). Cerise (is a romantic, passionate reddish pink, dark and perfect for painting flowers).
Pale plum (is a modest violet, almost faded, vintage memory of a plum bloom). Fuchsia(is a crazy explosion of pink, purple and violent, heavily sedimented and granulating - a real drama queen).
Darker madder like madder pink, but darker. Fandango (is an even wilder pink explosion than fuchsia, it's a pink with pink and pink on top). Brighter plum based on my old plum (or grape) colour, only more alive, more energetic.
Please keep in mind i run my swatches on fabriano estra white rough watercolour paper, and photograph them in bright sunlight - on different paper the paint may appear different itself such is the magic of watercolour papers. There are eleven, because that's my favourite number :d. The sets each come packed in a small cute carton box. Of course not all can be blacks and browns and ochre, and getting unnaturally vibrant paints is just part of my curiosity: i spend my night mixing this and that, trying new combinations, experimenting and trying to tame various new pigments. My paints are 85%+ pure pigment, which makes their lightfastness absolute, the rest means they are held together by an organic binder, my own homemade honey and myrtus glycerin.
Their naturality makes them unpredictable some dry like pepper, some never dry but i like that about them. They are unique and individual. With each new batch, i try to invoke a theme and invent as many new paints as possible, to keep my regular customers thrilled : i repeat some of the older recipes, because they never fall out of demand, but mostly, with each new batch, i invent. There is something wonderful, knowing that these combinations and pigments have been around since the dawn of time and somewhere, long ago, someone just as adventurous wandered around and explored with a very similar palette in their thick wooly pocket :d. This item is made of paint and pigment, honey, glycerine, gum arabic, clove oil.
